The film “CROSSING” is about North Korea refugee’s life and his family story. It
is based on the real-life accounts of numerous North Korean refugees, the film
centers on a family of three, the husband, his wife, and their 11-year-old son.
When wife becomes seriously ill, he travels across the border into China in
search of medicine but is ultimately forced to become a refugee in South

The North Korea refugee issues are already gotten so many national attention
from the public press – USA Today (2008), National Geographic (Feb-09), LiNK
team’s College Tour, and Defense Forum Foundation under US Congress
(planned North Korean Freedom Week). The film was selected "official" film
during the North Korean Freedom Week in Washington D.C. on April, 26 ~ May
1, 2009. North Korea is also one of the most notorious countries in the world by
launching missiles and having severe human right issues. Through the
screening, you can understand North Korea refugee’s vivid life. Here is
