I trust you are all well.
I did want to pass along to you that Debi's Mom, June Bowes, died earlier this morning.  Ms. June had been in residential hospice care for the past 5 weeks.  She had lived in our home since January 2006.  Debi has expressed our thoughts best, so I have forwarded her email below.

Hello All,
Just wanted to share with all of you that this morning about 7:30 mom, June Bowes, went to heaven.  She will celebrate Christmas with Jesus and her parents, husband and many friends who have gone before her.  Typical Mom, she did it in her own special way.  She woke up this morning and was having a great day.  She was laughing and talking with the nurses and drinking orange juice.  They wheeled her out into the hall to visit with the nurses as they began their day.  She was interacting with them and giving them a bad time as she loved to do.  They stepped away for less than a minute and when they came back and spoke to her, she had already gone.  She was never one for sentiment or gushy farewells, so I guess this was exactly as she would have wanted it.
 
We will hold a memorial service at the church next week.  Tentatively we are looking at next Thursday, December 30.  I will let you know final plans when I know them.
 
Tom and I are doing fine. We are looking forward to having the kids home for Christmas and sharing memories with them.  I have found myself sad a bit over the past week.  But today I find myself at peace.  I know Mom is too.
