지난 성금요일(Good Friday)을  저희 소망교에서는, "테네브리 예_배 (Tenebrae Service)" 로 함께 지키며 올려드렸습니다. 

예배가운데 나누었던 묵상을 또한 은혜가운데 함께 나누고자 묵상 나눔을 올려드립니다.  

* "테베브리 예배"는 예수님께서 십자가에서 마지막으로 남기신 일곱가지 말씀(가상칠언 - The Seven Last Words of Christ)을 

가지고 함께 묵상하며, 기도하는 예배의 형식입니다. 

2014년 성 금요일 예배

[The First Word : The Cross of Intercession]

(Luke 23:33) “When they came to the place called the Skull, there they crucified him, along with the criminals – one on his right, the other on his left.

(Luke 23:34) Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.”

(Luk 23:33)  해골이라 하는 곳에 이르러 거기서 예수를 십자가에 못 박고 두 행악자도 그렇게 하니 하나는 우편에 하나는 좌편에 있더라

(Luk 23:34)  이에 예수께서 가라사대 아버지여 저희를 사하여 주옵소서 자기의 하는 것을 알지 못함이니이다 하시더라

Don’t we commit a lot of wrong at times, unconsciously and at other times consciously in our lives? We too often hate, lie because of our Jealousy toward 

our brothers and sisters. Also, we easily argue, fight, and even swear at one another. If our continuous misdeeds are all accounted for, it would be too 

numerous and shameful to come into the presence of God. However, for our transgressions, Jesus became like us. He Himself became sin who knew no sin. No matter what we’ve done before, Jesus is always here to intercede for us as He has done on the Cross.

This Jesus became our mediator between God and us through His sacrifice on the Cross. Thus, The Bible assures us with this promise, “as far as the east is

from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.” (Psalm.103:12) What great news it is for us to know this mediator like Jesus Christ.

우리는 모든 것을 다 안다고 생각합니다.

그러나 우리의 죄악도, 우리의 연약함도

심지어는 우리가 무지하다는 사실 조차도 모릅니다.

우리를 만드신 분 보다 우리를 더 잘아는 분은 없습니다.

그 분을 떠날 때, 자유가 아니라 방황의 시작입니다.

모르는 상황에 머물러 있는 것은 옳지 못합니다.

모르는 것을 알지 못하는 것도 옳지 못합니다.

모든 것을 다 아시고

바르게 아시는 그 분을 구해야 합니다.

그 분께 나아가는 것,

그 분을 의지하는 것.

이것이 참된 지혜입니다.

[The Second Word : The cross of Evangelism]

(Luke 23:39) One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him: “Aren’t you the Christ? Save yourself and us!”

(Luke 23:40) But the other criminal rebuked him. “Don’t you fear God,” he said, “since you are under the same sentence?

(Luke 23:41) We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong.”

(Luke 23:42) Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.”

(Luke 23:43) Jesus answered him, “I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise.”

(Luk 23:39)  달린 행악자 중 하나는 비방하여 가로되 네가 그리스도가 아니냐 너와 우리를 구원하라 하되

(Luk 23:40)  하나는 그 사람을 꾸짖어 가로되 네가 동일한 정죄를 받고서도 하나님을 두려워 아니하느냐

(Luk 23:41)  우리는 우리의 행한 일에 상당한 보응을 받는 것이니 이에 당연하거니와 이 사람의 행한 것은 옳지 않은 것이 없느니라 하고

(Luk 23:42)  가로되 예수여 당신의 나라에 임하실 때에 나를 생각하소서 하니

(Luk 23:43)  예수께서 이르시되 내가 진실로 네게 이르노니 오늘 네가 나와 함께 낙원에 있으리라 하시니라

영어묵상 나눔(2-3분)

Jesus did not only save us and picked us out of eternal death, but He also promises us a secure place where we can live forever with him. This place is 

a guaranteed place without any waiting lines. Let’s suppose that you are invited to a banquet. Then, you have to dress up and even sometimes there is 

a background check before you can enter. However, you are now invited into this banquet of heaven.

Our Host Jesus would not ask you  if you are qualified to join.. When we simply cry and respond to this invitation like a thief “Jesus remembers me,” 

Jesus answers our cry and gives us a ticket to Heaven with the words, “You will be with me in paradise.” It’s not because we were living rightly, 

but because of the mercy of Jesus who does not remember our sins when we confess all our sins.

십자가의 고통은 인간이 느낄 수 있는 최대의 고통이었습니다.

뼈속까지 찢기는 채찍질이 가해졌습니다.

손목에 못을 박힌채로 십자가 위에 매달리셨기에,

체중으로 인해 몸은 아래로 처졌고

그로 인해 호흡곤란이 오는 고통이 수반되었습니다.

수치가 있었습니다.

모든 죄를 지고 가는 상상할 수 없는 영적 고통이 있었습니다.

그러나 주님은 그러한 순간에도, ‘자기 중심’이 아닌 ‘남 중심’이었습니다.

주님은 철저하게 ‘남 중심’이었습니다.

예수님 옆에 있는 한 강도 또한 죽어가는 마지막 삶의 순간을 맞이하였습니다.

그 영혼을 향하여 주님은 구원을 소개하셨습니다.

그리고 그 한편 강도는 마지막 순간, 구원 받게 되었습니다.

그것은 바로 ‘강도같은 우리’를 향한 주님의 사랑이었습니다.

십자가에서 처절하게 죽어가는 순간에도 ‘우리’를 향한 사랑으로 베풀어 주셨습니다.

주님의 그 사랑에 감사 하며

이 시간, 우리 또한 구원받아야 할 주위의 영혼을 위해서 기도하는 시간을 함께 갖겠습니다.

[The Third Word : The Cross of Filial Duty]

(John 19:25) Near the cross of Jesus stood his mother, his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene.

(John 19:26) When Jesus saw his mother there, and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to his mother, “Dear woman, here is your son,”

(John 19:27) and to the disciple, “Here is your mother.” From that time on, this disciple took her into his home.

[3언: 효도의 십자가]

(Joh 19:25)  예수의 십자가 곁에는 그 모친과 이모와 글로바의 아내 마리아와 막달라 마리아가 섰는지라

(Joh 19:26)  예수께서 그 모친과 사랑하시는 제자가 곁에 섰는 것을 보시고 그 모친께 말씀하시되 여자여 보소서 아들이니이다 하시고

(Joh 19:27)  또 그 제자에게 이르시되 보라 네 어머니라 하신대 그 때부터 그 제자가 자기 집에 모시니라

영어묵상 나눔(2-3분)

I once remember how my mom cared about me when I was sick. She placed a cold towel on my forehead to lower my fever, stayed with me, and prayed for me. I could see how great my mom’s love for me was. For Jesus, his mother came to him on the Cross. It must have been a difficult moment for her

to handle her emotion as the mother of Jesus. Her sorrow and outcry toward her sweet child Jesus who was hanging on the Cross must have been great and

painful. However, it had to be done because Jesus was not just merely born from his mother Mary’s womb, 

but because Jesus was also conceived by the Holy Spirit.

However, Jesus also did not neglect his role as a son in his last moments and asked  one of his disciple to take care of his mother. This incomparable agony

on the cross proves that how Jesus’ suffering(or sacrifice) was real and even His obedience to God’s will was not an easy choice.

Nevertheless, this Jesus chose to take the Cross for you and me.

십자가에서 죽어가시는 마지막 순간까지 가족의 끈을 놓지 않으셨습니다.

아들로서 어머니에 대한 최대의 배려와 섬김을 행하셨습니다.

가족!  그것은 하나님께서 만들어 주신 최초의 조직입니다.

예수님은 자신의 제자로 하여금 자신의 육신의 어머니를 부탁합니다. 

가족은 육적 관계를 넘어서 영적 천국의 가족으로 인도함 받을 수 있음을 말합니다.

교회는 가정같아야 합니다.

또한 가정은 교회 같아야 합니다.

이 시대, 진정한 가족 같은 교회의 모습을 회복하기를 함께 간절히 기도합시다.

[The Fourth Word : The Cross of Request]

(Mark 15:33) At the sixth hour darkness came over the whole land until the ninth hour.

(Mark 15:34) And at the ninth hour Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, Lama sabachthani?” 

      which means, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”

[4언: 간구의 십자가]

(Mar 15:33)  제 육시가 되매 온 땅에 어두움이 임하여 제 구시까지 계속하더니

(Mar 15:34)  제 구시에 예수께서 크게 소리지르시되 엘리 엘리 라마 사박다니 하시니 이를 번역하면 나의 하나님 나의 하나님 어찌하여 나를 버리셨나이까 하는 뜻이라

Suffering on the cross was not an easy thing to handle for Jesus who is the Son of God. Because, he suffered like us as he became like us. Isaiah 53:5 says

this, “But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities.” I once carried a cross as part of a VBS program. I carried the cross from

the church’s first floor to the third floor, using the steps. Even this short distance, which could have been less than a mile, was not an easy practice to me

and I really wanted to give up.

But, Jesus took on the Cross after being tortured and mocked by the people. Even Jesus knew God’s purpose but He still was in Agony. 

Martin Luther expressed this as, a “God forsaking God.” moment for the sake of our sins. Thus, This silent moment from God and outcry of Jesus 

was for the fulfilling of the promise of God. “God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”

Colossians 5:21

이는 하나님의 자기 소외 입니다.

자기 버림입니다.

이는 죄값의 무게를 말하는 것입니다.

하나님이 스스로를 버리셔야만

그 죄는 제대로 값을 치루게 되는 것입니다.

그래야 정당하게 구원은 이룩됩니다.

나의 죄값이 죽음, 사망임을 진지하게, 엄중하게 되새기는 묵상의 기도를 드리십시다.

[The Fifth Word : The Cross of Suffering]

(John 19:28) Later, knowing that all was now completed, and so that the Scripture would be fulfilled, Jesus said, “I am thirsty.”

[5언: 고통의 십자가]

(Joh 19:28)  이 후에 예수께서 모든 일이 이미 이룬줄 아시고 성경으로 응하게 하려하사 가라사대 내가 목마르다 하시니

영어묵상 나눔(2-3분)

Even though at the last minute of His suffering, Jesus did not forget His own purpose. His last word was not just mere expression of physical 

feeling of thirst. Rather, it was more intentional to fulfill proclamations of the Bible. Psalm 69:20-21 says this, “Their insults have broken my heart, 

and I am in despair. If only one person would show some pity; if only one would turn and comfort me. But instead, they give me poison for food; 

they offer me sour wine for my thirst.”

As Jesus was thirsty, I want to be thirsty for the living water that Jesus had promised to the Samaritan woman. As Jesus even achieved God’s will through

His thirst, I also want to fill my thirst only through His Living water. “Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, 

but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. In deed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” 

(John 4:13-14)

물은 생명을 의미합니다. 

예수님은 그 생명 유지를 스스로 거부하십니다.

땀을 주셨습니다.

피를 주셨습니다.

몸에 남은 모든 물을 다 주셨습니다.

예수님께서 다 주셨기에

우리는 다 받습니다.

그것은 바로 살아있는 물, 생수 되시는 성령님을 의미합니다.

주께서 주신 생명의 물인 진실의 눈물, 최선의 땀방울, 그리고 목숨을 주신 사랑의 피…

이 은혜의 강물에 우리의 모든 삶을 담그시길 바랍니다.   함께 묵상기도 드리겠습니다.

[The Sixth Word : The Cross of Victory]

(John 19:29) A jar of wine vinegar was there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put the sponge on a stalk of the hyssop plant, and lifted it to Jesus’ lips.

(John 19:30) When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

[6언: 승리의 십자가]

(Joh 19:29)  거기 신 포도주가 가득히 담긴 그릇이 있는지라 사람들이 신 포도주를 머금은 해융을 우슬초에 매어 예수의 입에 대니

(Joh 19:30)  예수께서 신 포도주를 받으신 후 가라사대 다 이루었다 하시고 머리를 숙이시고 영혼이 돌아가시니라

영어묵상 나눔(2-3분)

When Jesus fulfilled all of God’s purpose and died, it was not the moment of sadness and failure. Rather, this was a victorious moment. New life began 

with the dying of old life. We are always living in between life and death. Since we are born as babies and normally die when we get old. 

However, Jesus overcomes this boundary of life and death. Conversely, He proves that death and life is also possible in Him.

Jesus tells us that, “The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds.” Through His dying on the cross, all of us in this place receive this opportunity to be alive and 

be the fruit. Thus, again this Cross is not surrounded by sadness but with rejoicing, and thankfulness to celebrate and glorify this victory!

Thus, we can be sure and hold onto the promise of Jesus that said, “No one can snatch them away out of my hands, 

and nothing can separate us from God’s love.”

전 인류의 최대 숙제

하나님의 최대 프로젝트가 마침내 완성되었습니다.

인류의 과거, 미래의 모든 죄에 대한

하나님 차원의 과업이 완수된 순간입니다.

십자가에서 이루어 놓으셨기에

우리는 주님만 의지하면 됩니다.

주의 손에 우리의 손을 포개시기를 바랍니다.

주의 발에 우리의 발을 올려 놓으시기 바랍니다.

주님께 전적으로 모든 것을 다 맡기시고, 의지하시고, 온전히 의탁하시기 바랍니다.

전적 의지, 이것을 믿음이라 합니다.  믿음의 기도를 함께 드리도록 하십시다.

[The Seventh Word : The Cross of Request]

(Luke 23:46) Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.” When he had said this, he breathed his last.

[7언: 간구의 십자가]

(Luk 23:46)  예수께서 큰 소리로 불러 가라사대 아버지여 내 영혼을 아버지 손에 부탁하나이다 하고 이 말씀을 하신 후 운명하시다

Even until the very last minute, Jesus fulfilled God’s will and lifted His control up to God.  Then, what would be the means for us to give up our control? 

Then, What is total control? I shared this illustration with the EM congregation once. But, let me show you this. 

This is the easiet way of catching a monkey in Thailand. When a Monkey sees a banana in the small jar, his first reaction is to look around to check 

whether someone is watching over him or not. Then, the monkey puts a hand into the jar. However, when the monkey tries to pick out a banana,

his hand is in the trap now. Finally, unable to get his hand out, the monkey gets caught by the people who made this trap. 

However, there is only one way for the monkey to escape from this trap. What is it?

Yes. Right. It’s simple. Just “Let go.” “Let this banana go.” “Let your hand go free.” For us, we also easily put ourselves in this trap with our greed, 

worrying, or any other concerns. What we need to do is to just, “let it go.” Jesus also felt this temptation and struggle to fulfill God’s will 

so that Jesus also even prayed earnestly, “and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground.” (Luke 22:44)

But, Jesus put all His control to God until the last moments of His life. How about us? When we think about this Jesus, not only are we thankful for 

His sacrifice for us, but also learn from Jesus to “Let all our thoughts, greed, and desires go and fully obey and submit to God’s will and give our control to Him as Jesus did” Ask this question to yourself. Examine yourself on this question.

모든 것을 다 주시고, 모든 것을 다 행하신 주님.

이제 주님은 인간으로 더 이상 쏟을 힘이 없게 되었습니다.

주님은 정말로 삶의 마지막 순간까지 온 힘을 다해서, 최선을 다하셨습니다.

주님께서 자신의 영혼을 의탁하신 분은 모든 것을 다 감당하시는 분이십니다.

바로 하늘의 아버지께 주님의 영혼을 부탁하셨습니다.

가장 귀한 부탁, 가장 올바른 부탁이었습니다.

우리가 부탁할 가장 강한 분,

그 분은 바로 하나님 한분 밖에 없습니다.

우리의 연약함도

우리의 부족함도

하나님께 맡겨 드리는 우리 성도님들 되시기를 바랍니다.

이 시간, 전적으로 의지하는 기도를 함께 드리도록 하겠습니다.

Closing and Benediction 축도: 배헌석 목사

(Isa 53:4)  그는 실로 우리의 질고를 지고 우리의 슬픔을 당하였거늘 우리는 생각하기를 그는 징벌을 받아서 하나님에게 맞으며 

고난을 당한다 하였노라

(Isa 53:5)  그가 찔림은 우리의 허물을 인함이요 그가 상함은 우리의 죄악을 인함이라 그가 징계를 받음으로 우리가 평화를 누리고 

그가 채찍에 맞음으로 우리가 나음을 입었도다

(Isa 53:6)  우리는 다 양 같아서 그릇 행하며 각기 제 길로 갔거늘 여호와께서는 우리 무리의 죄악을 그에게 담당시키셨도다

(Isa 53:9)  그는 강포를 행치 아니하였고 그 입에 궤사가 없었으나 그 무덤이 악인과 함께 되었으며 그 묘실이 부자와 함께 되었도다

 * 예수님은 우리 죄 위해, 우리를 구원하시기 위해 마지막 남은 피 한방울, 마지막 남은 숨결 하나를 우리 위해 다 주시고, 운명하셨습니다.

* 주님이 왜 죽으셔야 했는지… 누구 위해서 죽으셔야 했는지…  기도로 나아갑시다.  주님만을 의지합시다.  

죽음의 자리까지 주님만 의지하며 나아갑시다.  하나님께서 우리를 부활 시켜 주실 줄 믿습니다.
