역사의 반전, 부활주일 새벽에 일어나다!

“여호와의 말씀이니라 보라 날이 이르리니 내가 이스라엘 집과 유다 집에 새 언약을 맺으리라”(예레미야 31:31)

기독교의 핵심교리는 부활입니다.  두려운 마음으로 맞이한 (부활) 주일 새벽에 초대교회는 로마 제국에 의해 처형된 예수님이 살아 나셨고, 무덤에서 풀려 나셨다는 것을 알게 되었습니다.  

죽음은 하나님의 의지에 더 이상 아무런 힘을 쓸 수 없었습니다.  제국의 사형 시스템은 그 분의 십자가 처형을 통해서도 아무런 지배력을 행사하지 못했습니다.  왜냐하면 그 분은 다시 살아 나셨기 때문입니다.

이것은 역사를 이끌어 가시는, 즉 역사에 반전을 일으키시는 하나님이 작가가 되시는 드라마와 같은 것입니다.  이 드라마는 놀라운 반전을 보여 줍니다.  복음의 하나님은 소망 없는 노년의 아브라함과 사라 부부에게 상속자를 주시고 새로운 미래를 열어 주셨던 것입니다. 

이와 같이 복음의 하나님은 새로운 가능성이 전혀 없다고 생각하는 사람들에게 놀라운 미래를 열어 주십니다.  죽음으로부터 새로운 창조를 진행하십니다.  그 누구도  풀지 못했던 죄 문제를 해결하십니다.  역사의 대반전을 일으키십니다.

누구든지 이 새 언약을 믿고, 의지할 때, 역사의 대반전에 동참할 수 있습니다.  예수를 그리스도로 믿고, 영접하고, 의지하고, 따라갈 때, 예수 그리스도에 의하여 나의 삶도 대반전의 삶으로 인도함 받습니다.

“그런즉 누구든지 그리스도 안에 있으면 새로운 피조물이라 이전 것은 지나갔으니 보라 새 것이 되었도다”(고린도후서 5:17)

나도 대반전의 삶으로 인도함 받을 수 있습니다!

내가 그리스도 안에 있을 때…

* 광고: 다음 고난주간(3/25-29, Holy Week or Passion Week) 동안 매일 저녁 함께 예배당에 모여 주님의 십자가를 더욱 깊게 묵상하고, 함께 기도하는 ‘공동체 묵상과 기도의 시간’을 갖습니다.  (월-목, 금요일은 성금요일 @ 모두 7:30 PM, 장소: 교회 예배당, 7:20 PM 에 오셔서 미리 개인 기도 하시면 됩니다)

The Reversal of History, Happening on Easter Sunday Morning!

“The days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah.” (Jeremiah 31:31)

The core doctrine of Christianity is the resurrection. On the morning of (Resurrection) Sunday, with trepidation, the early church learned that Jesus, who was executed by the Roman Empire, had risen and been released from the tomb.

Death could no longer exert any power against God's will. The empire's execution system had no control even through His crucifixion because He had risen.

This is like a drama where God, the one who leads history and brings about reversals, is the author. This drama shows an amazing reversal. The God of the Gospel gave an heir to Abraham and Sarah, an elderly couple without hope, opening a new future for them.

Similarly, the God of the Gospel opens astonishing futures for those who see no new possibilities, initiating new creation from death, resolving the issue of sin that no one else could solve, and bringing about a grand reversal in history.

Anyone who believes and relies on this new covenant can participate in this grand reversal of history. When we believe in Jesus as the Christ, receive, rely on, and follow Him, our lives are also led into a life of grand reversal through Jesus Christ.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” (2 Corinthians 5:17)

I too can be led into a life of grand reversal!
