일년 중 목회자들에게 가장 바쁜 기간이 저희가 지금 지내고 있는 기간인 것 같습니다.

It seems that the busiest time of the year for pastors is the period we are currently experiencing.

 

사순절부터 시작해서 고난 주간, 성금요일, 부활주일 예배 등을 지내면서 모든 집회 및 예배를 준비하는 분들의 수고가 참으로 많은 기간입니다.

From Lent to Holy Week, Good Friday, and Easter Sunday services, this is indeed a time of tremendous effort for those preparing all the meetings and worship services.

 

그러나 이 기간은 역사적으로, 또 개인적으로BC 에서 AD로 바뀌어지는 기간이기에 매우 중요한 기간임에 틀림없습니다.

However, historically and personally, there is no doubt that this period marks a crucial transition from BC to AD.

 

그래서 더 진지하게 묵상하다보니 영적 긴장감이 많이 드는 것 또한 사실입니다.

Therefore, as we engage in more earnest meditation, it's also true that there is a heightened spiritual tension.

 

육혼영이 함께 하는 전인적 존재이기에 영적으로 긴장할 때 육체적으로도 함께 피곤한 40일간의 영적 순례의 과정인 것 같습니다.

Being holistic beings with both physical and spiritual aspects, it feels like a spiritually exhausting 40-day pilgrimage, with the physical fatigue accompanying the spiritual journey.

 

이렇게 육체적으로도 조금은 피곤한 과정을 겪으면서 한가지 깨닫는 것이 있었습니다.

Amidst this somewhat physically taxing process, there is one realization that stands out:

 

주님은 얼마나 힘드셨을까…?

How difficult it must have been for the Lord.

 

이 땅에 육신으로 오셨기에 주님이 가지셨던 고난은 얼마나 컸었을까?

How immense was the suffering He endured by coming to this earth in the flesh?

 

얼마나 힘드셨으면 ‘이 잔을 내게서 지나가게 하옵소서’라고 기도하셨을까…?

How heavy must His burden have been for Him to pray, "Let this cup pass from me..."?

 

주님이 지니셨던 무게는 모든 인류의 죄를 지고 가시는 무게 이셨기에 그 어떤 무게보다도 무거우셨을 것입니다.

Considering that He bore the weight of all humanity's sins, His burden must have been heavier than anything imaginable.

 

그 주님을 묵상할 때, 주님께서 지고 가신 무게의 1억분의 1도 안되는 피곤함을 가지면서 오히려 주님께 감사 드리게 되었습니다.

Yet, in meditating on the Lord, even experiencing a fraction of His exhaustion, it leads to a sense of gratitude towards Him.

 

주님의 아픔과 고통과 무게를 조금이나마 함께 체험할 수 있었기 때문입니다.

We are grateful for the cross He bore on our behalf,

 

그 주님께서 대신 져 주신 십자가로 인해 우리는 지금 영생의 기쁨의, 생명의 삶을 살게 되었습니다.

which enables us to live a life of eternal joy and abundance.

 

주님, 감사 드립니다.

Thank you, Lord.

 

주님께 그 감사의 마음으로 함께 주님을 찬양하며 나아가도록 하겠습니다.

With a heart of gratitude, let us praise the Lord and move forward together.

주님의 사랑으로 인해 감사 드립니다.

I thank the Lord for His love.

 

주님의 은혜로 인해 감사 드립니다.

I thank the Lord for His grace.

 

주님 더 알기를 원합니다.

I desire to know the Lord more.

 

주님 더 닮기를 원합니다.

I desire to become more like the Lord.

 

성령께서 이 시간, 함께 하옵시고, 인도하여 주옵소서.

May the Holy Spirit be with us in this time and guide us.

 

나를 사랑하사 십자가 대신 져 주신 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 기도 드립니다.  아멘.

I pray in the name of Jesus Christ, who loved me and gave Himself for me on the cross. Amen.

 

[묵상나눔]

 

[본문] 요한복음 John 13:14-15

14. 내가 주와 또는 선생이 되어 너희 발을 씻었으니 너희도 서로 발을 씻어 주는 것이 옳으니라

15. 내가 너희에게 행한 것 같이 너희도 행하게 하려 하여 본을 보였노라

 

14. Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another's feet.

15. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you.

 

[제목] 주님처럼 섬기기

[Title] Serving Life Like Jesus Christ

 

저희는 지난 월요일부터 고난의 주님을 함께 묵상하였습니다.

Since last Monday, we have been meditating on the suffering of our Lord.

 

단순한 고난이 아닌, 우리를 위한 사랑과 은혜의 고난이기에 우리는 이 주간을 ‘거룩한 주간’이라 부르기도 합니다.

It is not just any suffering but the suffering of love and grace for us, which is why we also call this week the 'Holy Week.'

 

첫날, 즉 월요일에 함께 나눈 주제는 ‘삶의 기준’이었습니다.  

On the first day, Monday, we discussed the theme of 'Life's Standards.'

 

나 자신을 깊게 돌아보고, 우리가 나아가야 할 길에 대한 올바른 결정을 매 순간 행하는 것은 참으로 중요합니다.

It is truly important to deeply reflect on ourselves and make correct decisions at every moment regarding the path we should take.

 

이러한 돌아봄과 결정을 위해서 ‘기준’이 필요한데, 그 유일한 기준은 ‘십자가’임을 우리는 함께 나눴습니다.

We discussed that for such reflection and decision-making, we need a 'standard,' and we agreed that the only standard is the 'cross.'

 

둘째날, 즉 화요일의 주제는 ‘자유’였습니다.  

On the second day, Tuesday, the theme was 'Freedom.'

 

주님의 대속이 계셨기에 우리는 죄로부터 자유하게 되었습니다.

Because of the redemption of our Lord, we have been set free from sin.

 

셋째날, 즉 수요일의 주제는 ‘담대함’이었습니다.  

On the third day, Wednesday, the theme was 'Boldness.'

 

주님의  십자가 구원이 계시기에 우리는 어떤 상황으로부터도 담대할 수 있습니다.

Because of the salvation brought by the Lord's cross, we can be bold in any situation.

 

‘십자가’라는 삶의 바른 기준으로 나아갈 때, 죄사함 받게 되는 자유함을 누리게 되고, 그로 인해 담대함으로 우리는 이 세상을 향해 나아갈 수 있는 영적 무장을 하게 된 것입니다.

When we follow the correct standard of life, which is the 'cross,' we receive the freedom of forgiveness, and through that, we are equipped with the spiritual armor of boldness to advance toward this world.

 

이제 주님께서 주님께서 마지막으로 우리에게 보여 주신 것이 있습니다.

Now, there is one last thing that the Lord has shown us.

 

그것은 바로 주님께서  마지막으로 자신의 몸으로 가르쳐 주신 가르침입니다.

It is the final teaching that the Lord imparted to us with His own body.

 

이를 위해 오늘 본문을 다시 한번 더 읽도록 하겠습니다.

For this, let us read the passage once again today.

 

[본문] (다같이 천천히 읽기)

 

그것은 ‘섬김’입니다.

It is 'service.'

 

제자들의 발을 씻겨 주신 섬김입니다.

It is the service of washing the disciples' feet.

 

세상은 모두 더 높은 곳으로 올라 가려고 하는데, 주님은 가장 낮은 곳으로 방향을 잡아 주십니다.

While the world seeks to ascend to higher places, the Lord directs us to the lowest place.

 

가장 낮은 곳에는 아직도 자유함이 없고, 담대함 대신 연약함과 절망과 낙망이 있는 곳이기 때문입니다.

In the lowest place, there is still no freedom, but instead weakness, despair, and hopelessness.

 

그래서 주님은 무릎을 꿇으셨습니다.

That's why the Lord knelt down.

 

가장 낮은 곳으로 가시기 위함이셨습니다.

It was to go to the lowest place.

 

가장 낮은 곳에는 더러움과 연약함과 아픔과 괴로움이 있는 곳입니다.

In the lowest place, there is filth, weakness, pain, and suffering.

 

주님의 십자가 보혈만이 참된 위로와 치유와 강함과 소망으로 인도하실 것입니다.

Only the true comfort, healing, strength, and hope will come through the Lord's cross and blood.

 

이제 주님께서 이미 주님의 보혈로 다 씻음 받은 주님의 제자들을 향해서 말씀하십니다.

Now the Lord speaks to His disciples, who have already been washed by His blood.

 

‘너희가 그 곳으로 가라’

"Go to that place."

 

‘가장 낮은 곳으로 가라’

"Go to the lowest place."

 

‘너희가 가서 십자가의 은혜로, 보혈로 씻어 주라’

"Go and wash with the grace of the cross, with my blood."

 

너무 힘들고, 너무 어렵고, 너무 연약하기에…

Because it's too hard, too difficult, too weak...

 

스스로의 힘으로는 도저히 이 어려움을 이길 수 없습니다.

We simply cannot overcome these difficulties on our own strength.

 

주님 외에는 이 어려움을 해결할 길이 없습니다.

Apart from the Lord, there is no way to resolve these challenges.

 

그래서 주님으로 인해 이미 몸까지 씻은 저희들에게 가서 섬기라고 하십니다.

That's why He tells us, who have already been washed by His grace, to go and serve.

 

주님의 은혜로 온전히 깨끗함을 받은 우리들만이 주님의 은혜와 사랑을 나눌 수 있기에…

Only those of us who have been completely cleansed by the Lord's grace can share His grace and love...

 

그런데 주님은 우리만 가라고 하지 않으신다고 믿습니다.

However, I believe that the Lord doesn't just tell us to go alone.

 

주님은 그 멍에를 함께 지신다고 하셨기 때문입니다.

He said He would bear the yoke together with us.

 

우리도 낮아 질 때, 가장 어렵고, 심지어 더러운 곳으로 갈 때, 우리는 그곳에서 함께 하시는 주님을 만날 수 있다고 믿습니다.

When we humble ourselves, when we go to the lowest and even dirtiest places, we believe we can encounter the Lord who is with us there.

 

그리고 예수님 의지하며, 가장 낮은 곳에 있는 영혼들을 섬길 때, 주님의 보혈의 능력으로 새 힘을 드리고, 새롭게 되는 역사가 일어날 줄 믿습니다.

And relying on Jesus, when we serve souls in the lowest places, we believe that the power of the Lord's blood will give us new strength, and new transformations will occur.

 

성령님을 의지하며, 저희가 성령님께서 이끄시는 대로, 한 분 한 분 생각하며, 그 분들께로 나아가기를 원합니다.

Relying on the Holy Spirit, we desire to approach each person, thinking of them individually, as guided by the Holy Spirit.

 

육체적으로 가장 낮은 곳에 있는 몸이 너무나 연약한 분들이 계십니다.

There are people who are physically in the lowest places, so frail and weak.

 

사회적으로, 물질적으로 가장 낮은 곳에 있는 어려운 분들이 계십니다.

There are those who are socially and materially in the lowest places, facing difficulties.

 

정신적으로, 내면적으로 가장 낮은 곳에 있는 연약한 분들이 계십니다.

There are those who are mentally and internally in the lowest places, so fragile.

 

영적으로 가장 낮고, 어둡고, 힘든 곳에 계시는 연약한 분들이 계십니다.

There are those who are spiritually in the lowest, darkest, and most difficult places.

 

우리가 그 분들을 향하여 나아가기를 원합니다.

We want to reach out to those people.

 

주님처럼 무릎 꿇고, 가장 낮은 곳으로 나아가기를 원합니다.

We want to kneel down like the Lord and go to the lowest places.

 

주님처럼 가장 낮은 곳으로 가서, 연약한 분들의 발을 씻어 드리는 섬김의 자세를 갖기를 원합니다.

We want to go to the lowest places like the Lord, and have the attitude of service, washing the feet of those who are weak.

 

그리고 꼭 기억하기를 원합니다.

And we want to always remember this:

 

우리의 힘과 능력이 아니라, 주님의 힘과 능력이 함께 하실 줄 믿습니다.

we believe that it is not our strength and abilities, but the strength and abilities of the Lord that will be with us.

 

왜냐하면 주님이 그 멍에를 함께 져 주신다고 약속하셨고, 세상 끝날까지 저희와 함께 하신다고 약속하셨기 때문입니다.

Because the Lord promised to bear that yoke with us, and promised to be with us until the end of the world.

 

우리 또한 무릎 꿇고 가장 낮아질 때, 그 곳에 계시는 주님을 만나게 되리라 믿습니다.

We also believe that when we humble ourselves and go to the lowest places, we will encounter the Lord who is there.

 

이제, 주님 가신 그 길을 우리도 함께 걸어가기를 원하는 심정으로 함께 찬양으로 헌신하기를 원합니다.

Now, with the desire to walk the path that the Lord has taken, we want to dedicate ourselves together in praise.

 

[합심기도] 

오늘은 몇 번의 기도를 하지 않고, 제가 마무리 기도 한 뒤 우리 모두가 주님의 뒤를 따라 가기를 원합니다.

Today, without counting how many times we have prayed, after I conclude the prayer, let us all desire to follow the Lord.

 

주님은 이렇게 제자들의 발을 씻겨 주신 다음 겟세마네 동산으로 가셨습니다. 

After washing the disciples' feet, the Lord went to the Garden of Gethsemane.

 

그곳에서 밤새워 땀방울이 피방울 되도록 기도하셨습니다.

There, He prayed fervently until His sweat became like drops of blood.

 

주님은 기도로 먼저 섬기셨던 것입니다.

The Lord served through prayer first.

 

우리가 다른 사람들의 발을 씻겨 주는 첫번째 행동으로 행해야 할 것은 바로 주님처럼 위해서 영혼들을 위해 함께 기도하는 것입니다.

The first action we should take in serving others by washing their feet is to pray together for their souls, just as the Lord did.

 

그래서 우리는 이 밤이 겟세마네 기도의 밤이 되기를 원합니다.

Therefore, we desire for this night to become a night of Gethsemane prayer.

 

가장 낮은 곳에 계신 분들을 성령님을 의지하며 생각나시는 대로 위해서 기도하겠습니다.

We will rely on the Holy Spirit and pray as He leads us, for those who are in the lowest places.

 

내 주위에 아프신 분들, 영적으로 힘드신 분들, 삶의 여러가지 모양으로 어려우신 분들…

그 분 들 위해서 함께 기도드리는 시간을 갖기를 원합니다.

We want to have a time of prayer together for those who are hurting, spiritually struggling, and facing various difficulties in life.

 

주님의 보혈 의지하며 중보기도드리실 때, 그 분의 발을 씻겨 드리는 귀한 섬김의 시간이 되리라 믿습니다.

As we intercede, relying on the Lord's blood, we believe it will be a precious time of service, washing the feet of those in need.

 

제가 마무리 기도 드리고 개인 기도의 시간을 원하시는 만큼 갖도록 하겠습니다.

After I conclude the prayer, we will have time for personal prayer as desired.

 

(기도)

하늘 보좌를 버리시고 가장 낮은 곳으로 오신 주님

Lord, who left Your heavenly throne and came to the lowest place,

 

여기 앉은 저희들 마음 깊숙한 곳에까지 오신 주님

Lord, who has reached into the deepest part of our hearts as we sit here,

 

이제 저희가 그 주님의 마지막 길을 따라 가기를 원합니다.

Now, we desire to walk the Lord's final path.

 

주님께서 무릎 꿇으시고 저희들의 발을 씻겨 주셨듯이 저희들도 성령님께서 인도하심 따라 한 분 한 분 주님의 이름으로 영혼들을 위해 기도 드리기 원합니다.

Just as the Lord knelt down and washed our feet, we also want to pray for souls in the name of the Lord, following the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

 

십자가의 보혈 의지하며 섬길 때, 그 영혼에 새 힘이, 치유와 깨끗함으로 인도하여 주실 줄 믿습니다.

We want to pray for each soul, relying on the blood of the cross, believing that through our service, they will be led to new strength, healing, and purity.

 

주님의 구원과 치유와 평안과 산 소망으로 채워 주소서

May the salvation, healing, peace, and mountainous hope of the Lord fill us.

 

우리 위해 십자가에서 죽기까지 하신 사랑하는 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 기도 드립니다.

In the name of our beloved Jesus Christ, who died for us on the cross, we pray. Amen.
