[말씀묵상 366] 신 27:1-26 (04/12/24) "반드시 정복해야 할 가나안을 위하여-엄중하게 기억 & 헌신하기!" "For the Canaan to be conquered - Remember & Dedicate Diligently!"

모세는 자신의 세대를 넘어 여호수아 세대가 가나안 온전히 정복하도록 유언과 같은 말씀을 신명기서를 통해 나눕니다.  즉, 자신은 느보산 앞에서 가나안 들어가지 못하고, 가나안 바라보며 죽게 될 것임을 알았기에... 그 누구 보다도 비장하게 신명기서를 말씀했을 것입니다.

특별히 예언적 축복과 저주를 담은 27장부터의 마지막 세번째 설교는 유언 중의 유언이라 할 수 있습니다. 그 속에 강한 비장함 마저 담겨져 있습니다.

핵심 내용은 '기억하라'입니다!

1) 말씀을-그래서 큰 돌에 말씀의 내용을 새기게 합니다.

2) 선택의 중요성을-서로 마주보는 그리심산과 에발산을 택하여 12지파를 양분하여 양쪽 산에 올라가게 합니다. 한쪽은 축복을, 한쪽은 저주를 그 결과로 함을 매우 강력한 교육도구(큰 두 산)를 통해 행하게 됩니다.

3) 거룩 공동체 세우기를-12번 구체적인 실행사안을 백성으로 하여금 듣게 하고, 마지막에 '아멘'으로 화답하게 함으로써 반드시 거룩 공동체를 세우도록 헌신케 합니다.

나는 오늘 가나안 정복을 하고 있습니까?  했습니까?

그래야 내가 가는 모든 '열방'에 하나님의 복을 제대로 나누는 참된 '복의 통로'가 됩니다.

열방 선교 없습니다!

Moses, through the book of Deuteronomy, shares words akin to a testament to ensure that the generation of Joshua fully conquers Canaan. He knew that he himself would not enter Canaan but would die while looking at it from Mount Nebo... Thus, he would have spoken the words of Deuteronomy with a fervor unlike anyone else.

Especially, the last third sermon from chapter 27, which contains prophetic blessings and curses, can be considered the ultimate testament within the testament. It contains strong determination even within.

The key message is 'Remember!'

1) Remember the words - so engrave the contents of the words on large stones.

2) Remember the importance of choice - divide the 12 tribes by having them face each other on Mount Gerizim and Mount Ebal. By using this powerful educational tool (the two mountains), they are directed to go up each side, one for blessings and one for curses, as a result of their choice.

3) Remember to establish a holy community - by having the people listen to 12 specific instructions and respond with "Amen" at the end, they are dedicated to establishing a holy community.

Am I conquering Canaan today? Have I conquered it?

Only then can I truly become a conduit of God's blessings to all the 'nations' I encounter.
