(고린도전서 7:1-24) 나는 소명 따라 살아가고 있는가?

이 세상에 어떤 물품도 목적없이, 의미없이 존재하지 않습니다.  하물며 하나님의 형상으로 지어진 사람이 의미없이 이 세상에 존재하지 않습니다.  문제는 하나님과의 관계 회복, 즉 구원을 통해 하나님의 형상(자기 정체성)이 회복되어야 하며, 그러할 때 각자에게 다르게 주신 소명도 확인하게 됩니다.

부르신 분은 하나님이시고, 부름의 소명은 각자 다릅니다.  결혼/결혼 전/독신의 경우도 마찬가지 입니다.  각자 다른 소명이 있을 수 있고(1-9), 결혼한 상태에서 이혼 여부도 상황/개인 따라 다릅니다(10-16).

이 모든 것은 부르신 하나님 앞에서 정해야 하며(7, 24), 복음으로 인한 참 자유 가운데 정해야 하며(21-23), 영혼 구원과 하나님 나라 건설의 목적으로 행해야 합니다(16).

나는 소명 따라 살아가고 있습니까?

Nothing in this world exists without purpose or meaning. Even more so, a person created in the image of God does not exist without meaning. The issue is that the restoration of our relationship with God—namely salvation—must restore the image of God (our true identity). When this happens, each person also comes to recognize the unique calling given to them.

The One who calls is God, and the nature of that calling differs for each person. This applies to marriage, pre-marriage, and singleness as well. Each may involve a different calling (vv. 1–9), and even within marriage, decisions regarding divorce may differ depending on the situation and the individual (vv. 10–16).

All of this must be decided before God who calls us (vv. 7, 24), within the true freedom given through the gospel (vv. 21–23), and for the purpose of the salvation of souls and the building of God’s kingdom (v. 16).
