(고린도전서 15:1-11) 복음이란?

(고린도전서 15:1-11)

“내가 받은 것을 먼저 너희에게 전하였노니 이는 성경대로 그리스도께서 우리 죄를 위하여 죽으시고 장사 지낸 바 되셨다가 성경대로 사흘 만에 다시 살아나사”(3-4)

무엇이 복음입니까?(1)  전할 수 밖에 없는 소중하고 강력한 것입니다(1). 구원을 얻게 하는 것입니다(2).  성경의 핵심 내용입니다(3).  그리스도께서 우리 (죄를) 위해 죽으셨을 뿐만 아니라, 다시 사신 것을 말합니다(4).

그 죽음과 부활은 실제로 일어난 역사적 사실입니다(5-7).  개인적, 인격적 체험으로 인도하는 살아있는 능력입니다(8).  이를 깨달을 때 삶의 강력한 변혁(transformation)이 일어납니다(9).  이를 은혜라고 합니다(10).

그래서 온 몸으로, 온 힘 다하여 이 복음을 전파하게 됩니다.  그리고 그 결과 믿게 되고, 그에 따라 사람들이 구원받게 되는 기쁜 일이 일어나게 되는 것입니다(11).

그렇습니다.  복음은 능력이고, 기쁨입니다!

(1 Corinthians 15:1–11)

“For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that He was buried, that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.” (vv. 3–4)

What is the gospel? (v. 1) It is something so precious and powerful that we cannot help but share it with others (v. 1). It is the message through which we are saved (v. 2). It is the very heart of Scripture (v. 3). It proclaims not only that Christ died for our sins, but also that He rose again (v. 4).

His death and resurrection are real historical events that actually took place (vv. 5–7). The gospel is a living power that leads us into a personal and transformative encounter with Christ (v. 8). When we truly grasp this truth, a powerful transformation takes place in our lives (v. 9). This is what we call grace (v. 10).

Therefore, with all that we are and with all our strength, we proclaim this gospel. As a result, people come to believe, and through faith they receive salvation—a truly joyful and glorious work of God (v. 11).

Yes, the gospel is power, and it is joy!
