(시편 15:1-5) 삶의 예배자 입니까?

(시편 15:1-5)

“이런 일을 행하는 자는 영원히 흔들리지 아니하리이다”(5)

시편 15편은 ‘신앙시’에 해당한다고 할 수 있습니다.  좀 더 실제적으로 표현한다면 ‘일상 생활에서 역할하는 믿음의 자세’와 관련된 삶을 시로 표현한 것이라 할 수 있습니다.

주의 장막에 머무를 자는 하나님 앞에 서는 자, 즉 예배자를 말합니다(1).  그러나 그 예배자의 모습은 성막 안에서의 모습만을 말하는 것이 아니라, 일상의 삶의 모습을 구체적으로 말하고 있습니다.

정직한 모습, 공의를 실천하는 모습, 진실의 모습(2), 올바른 언어와 관련된 모습(3), 하나님 앞에서의 진중한 삶의 모습(4), 심지어는 물질과 관련된 신실한 모습(5)을 보여 주고 있습니다.

그렇습니다.  참된 예배는 성막 안에서의 예배만을 말하는 것이 아니라, 일상의 삶에서 하나님 믿는 믿음으로, 그리고 삶의 구체적인 영역에서 믿음의 자세로 모든 삶의 영역을 대할 때, 그것이 진정으로 참된 예배라 할 수 있습니다.

나는 삶의 예배자입니까?

“Whoever does these things will never be shaken.” (v. 5)

Psalm 15 can be classified as a psalm of faith. More practically, it is a poetic description of what genuine faith looks like in everyday life.

The one who may dwell in the Lord’s sanctuary is the one who stands before God—that is, a true worshiper (v. 1). Yet the psalm does not describe this worshiper only in terms of what happens inside the tabernacle. Rather, it paints a concrete picture of how that person lives in daily life.

It speaks of a life marked by integrity, the practice of righteousness, and truthfulness (v. 2). It emphasizes upright speech (v. 3), a reverent and honorable life before God (v. 4), and even faithfulness in the way one handles money and material possessions (v. 5).

Indeed, true worship is not limited to what takes place inside the tabernacle or during a worship service. True worship is expressed by living each day in faith, trusting God, and approaching every area of life with a heart that reflects that faith. When our faith shapes every aspect of our daily living, that is genuine worship.

Am I a worshiper not only in church, but also in the way I live each day?
