[목양칼럼] 삶의 원리 및 우선순위의 중요성

일 중심으로 살아간 적이 많았습니다. 그런 경우 목회도 일 중심으로 할 때가 많았습니다.  그러나 하나님과의 관계, 가족과의 관계 그리고 사역의 영역 등으로 우선 순위를 정하는 것이 맞다는 것을 성경을 읽으면서 다시 정립하게 되었습니다.

그래서 목회자로서 우선순위의 관점을 잃지 않으려고 애를 씁니다.  그러면서 균형성도 생각하게 됩니다.  우선순위의 원리가 한 쪽만 중요하게 생각한다는 것은 아니기 때문입니다.  균형적 감각, 전인적 자세를 가질 때 좀 더 건강한 삶과 사역, 그리고 치우치지 않는 삶으로 나아가게 됩니다.

구원은 개인 구원의 측면 뿐만 아니라, 구원을 통해 창조 시 하나님께서 계획하셨던 삶의 회복, 그리고 영원한 하나님 나라 백성의 삶으로 향하는 삶 또한 포함 되었음을 의미합니다.  그래서 사회, 정치, 문화의 영역 또한 기독교인들은 구원의 의미와 능력을 통해 회복해야 합니다.

그래서 기독교인들이 일상의 삶을 가장 건강하게 살아가야 하고, 그럴 때 삶으로 그리스도의 향기를 발하게 됩니다.  구원의 능력, 복음의 참 기쁨을 나누게 됩니다.

그리고 이러한 우선순위, 전인성, 균형성을 생각하면서 가장 꼭 잊어 버리지 말아야 할 것이 있습니다.  그것은 예수 그리스도를 통하지 않고서는 이런 참된 구원의 회복, 하나님 나라 건설이 가능하지 않다는 것입니다.  이것을 그리스도 구속 사역 중심의 관점, 즉 초점성입니다.

십자가 없이는 가능하지 않습니다.

그래서 매일 매 순간 십자가의 은혜와 산 소망으로 시작해야 합니다.

여름 동안 가족 시간, 개인 시간, 여가, 여행 등 등 많이 하게 됩니다.

이런 모든 다양한 상황 속에서 십자가로 시작하시고(초점성), 균형과 전인과 우선순위를 생각하실 때
휴가 및 여행의 상황에서도 본질을 잃지 않는 가장 건강한 여름, 성숙한 기간 되실 줄 믿습니다.  샬롬~

The Importance of Biblical Priorities

There was a time when I lived mainly focused on work, and even my ministry was often work-centered. However, through God's Word, I came to realize that our priorities should begin with our relationship with God, then our family, and finally our ministry and work.

As a pastor, I try to keep these biblical priorities in mind while also pursuing a balanced life. Biblical priorities do not mean neglecting other areas. Rather, they help us live with balance and wholeness, leading to healthier lives and more faithful ministry.

God's salvation is not only about saving individuals. It also restores the life God intended at creation and prepares us to live as citizens of His eternal Kingdom. Therefore, Christians are called to bring the transforming power of the gospel into every area of life, including society, culture, and our daily relationships.

Above all, we must never forget one essential truth: true restoration and the Kingdom of God are possible only through Jesus Christ. Everything begins with His redeeming work on the cross.

Without the cross, there is no true restoration. Every day, we begin with the grace of the cross and the living hope found in Christ.

During the summer, many of us enjoy time with family, personal rest, and travel. Wherever you may be, may you begin with the cross, keep Christ at the center, and live with biblical priorities, balance, and wholeness. I pray that this will be a refreshing and spiritually fruitful season for you.
