Hope Clinic 소개 및 Love Concert
 

  Ypsilanti에 위치한 Hope Clinic은, 1982년에 Dr. Daniel Heffernan에 의해 설립된 초교파적 기독 치의학 사회 봉사 기관이다. 자신이 살던 집을 선교 목적의 의료원으로 사용하기 위해 기부 및 개조하여, 지금까지 많은 의사, 간호사, 약사 및 학생 들의 자원 봉사로 치료 및 간호가 이루어 지고 있다.
  이 곳에서는 신분에 상관 없이 저소득층의 의료보험을 갖고 있지 않은 모든 사람들을 대상으로 치료가 이루어진다. 지금은 한국 사람들도 상당수가 이 곳 Hope Clinic의 혜택을 받고 있다. 지병도 계속 치료를 받을 수 있고 약 또한 저렴하게 혹은 무료로 지급되고 있다. 경우에 따라서는 St. Joseph 병원과의 협력 치료 및 검사들도 이루어 진다. 치료비가 비싼 안과 및 치과 혜택도 받을 수 있는 장점도 있다.
  단순한 의료적 치료 뿐만 아니라, 영적으로 힘들어 하는 영혼들에게 중보자의 역할도 하는 충실한 주의 종으로의 역할을 해내고 있다. 이런 Hope Clinic을 격려하고자, 앤아버 소망교회에서는 2001년부터 매년 ‘사랑의 콘서트’라는 이름의 콘서트를 열어, 공연의 헌금 전액을 후원하고 있다. 지역의 모든 교회와 성도들, 그리고 지역 모든 주민들이 하나의 마음으로, 함께 격려하고 섬기면서, 그 선한 일에 동참하며, 주께 영광 돌리기를 하는 바람이다.
  Hope Clinic, which is Interdenominational Christian medical and dental service, was founded by Dr. Daniel Heffernan, in 1982, in Ypsilanti, MI.  After he donated and renovated his own house as the clinic, many doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and students have volunteered to recover and care of people.
  Hope Clinic works for all people who do not have medical insurance or for the poor.  Recently, many Korean people are getting helped at Hope Clinic.  Hope Clinic also cares of Long term diseases and provides the medicine as free or with the cheap price.  For some cases such as the ophthalmic and dentals, which require high costs, they work with St. Joseph Hospital to check and care of patients.
  They also play the role as the intercessors for people having spiritual suffering.  In order to encourage Hope Clinic, Ann Arbor Hope Church has the ‘Love Concert,’ every year from 2001 and supports Hope Clinic with the offerings.
