제대로 보고, 제대로 듣고 계십니까?

“내가 너희에게 말하노니 많은 선지자와 임금이 너희가 보는 바를 보고자 하였으되 보지 못하였으며 너희가 듣는 바를 듣고자 하였으되 듣지 못하였느니라”(누가복음 10:24)

‘너희는 제대로 보고, 제대로 듣고 있느냐…?’라고  예수님께서 제자들에게 물으셨습니다.  왕과 선지자들도 놓친 것이 있다고 예수님께서는 말씀하시면서 제자들에게 이렇게 물으셨던 것입니다.

이 질문의 답은 십자가의 능력입니다.  예수님에 관한 진리, 능력, 그리고 변혁적인 모든 것이 십자가에서 드러나기 때문입니다.

패배처럼 보이는 성금요일이 실은 하나님께서 인류 역사의 모든 문제를 풀기 위해서 얽혀진 매듭을 푸시는 출발입니다.  

이제 며칠 후면 고난주간을 시작합니다.  이 주간을 영어로 Holy Week 라고 합니다.  말씀앞으로, 기도의 무릎으로 한 주간을 지날 때 우리의 영적 눈과 귀가 열려서 참된 거룩으로, 참된 자유로 인도함 받는 성금요일을 맞이하게 될 것입니다.

성금요일을 영어로 Good Friday 라고 하는 이유도 우리는 깨닫게 될 것입니다.

나는 제대로 보고 있습니까?

나는 제대로 듣고 있습니까?  

* 이제, 오늘 묵상 나눔을 기초하여 ‘지금’ 짧게 기도의 시간을 가져 보십시오.  샬롬~

* 사순절 기간 동안 매일 저녁 7시 경에 짧은 묵상을 나눕니다(월터 브루거만 사순절 묵상집 기초하여).

* 광고: 다음 고난주간(3/25-29, Holy Week or Passion Week) 동안 매일 저녁 함께 예배당에 모여 주님의 십자가를 더욱 깊게 묵상하고, 함께 기도하는 ‘공동체 묵상과 기도의 시간’을 갖습니다.  (월-목, 금요일은 성금요일 @ 모두 7:30 PM, 장소: 교회 예배당, 7:20 PM 에 오셔서 미리 개인 기도 하시면 됩니다)

Are You Seeing and Hearing Correctly?

"I tell you, many prophets and kings wanted to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it." (Luke 10:24)

'Are you truly seeing and hearing...?' Jesus asked His disciples. He indicated that even kings and prophets had missed something, prompting this question to His followers.

The answer to this question is the power of the cross. It is on the cross that the truth about Jesus, His power, and all transformative aspects are revealed.

What seems like defeat on Good Friday is actually the beginning of how God unravels the knot to solve all problems in human history.

In a few days, we will begin Holy Week. Spending this week in the Word and on our knees in prayer will open our spiritual eyes and ears, leading us to a true Good Friday filled with genuine holiness and freedom.

We will come to understand why it is called Good Friday.

• Announcement: During the next Holy Week (3/25-29, Holy Week or Passion Week), every evening we will gather in the church to deeply meditate on the Lord's cross and pray together during the 'Community Meditation and Prayer Time'. (Mon-Thurs, Friday is Good Friday @ all at 7:30 PM, Location: Church Sanctuary, you can come at 7:20 PM for personal prayer beforehand)
