(이사야 12:1-6)

11장에서 예수 그리스도에 대한 너무나 아름답고, 강력한 묘사가 있었습니다.  그 다음에 나오는 것은… 찬양입니다.  당연합니다.  

구원의 기쁨, 창조의 회복의 기쁨, 영원한 하나님 나라의 기쁨을 체험했을 때 이를 행하신 분은 피조물이 아닌 창조주 하나님이시기 때문입니다.

하나님을 향한 찬양은 당연한 것입니다.  감사로(1), 힘과 노래와 구원되심을(2), 기쁨으로(3), 만국 중에서(4), 온 땅에 알리기 위해(5), 높이 하나님을 찬양하게 됩니다(6).

특별히 ‘구원의 우물들에서 물을 길으리로다’(4)라는 표현은 시적 표현을 넘어 너무나 강력하고 아름다운 구원의 능력과 기쁨과 풍성함을 참으로 실체적으로 표현한 것입니다.

오늘, 그 구원의 실존적, 존재적, 실체적 풍성함을 강력하고 세심하게 맛보시며, 구원의 우물들에서 나오는 풍성한 사랑을 맘껏 나누시는 귀한 복의 통로의 삶 사시길 간절히 기도 드립니다.

Isaiah 11 presents an incredibly beautiful and powerful portrait of Jesus Christ. What follows in chapter 12 is... praise. And that is only natural.

When we experience the joy of salvation, the restoration of creation, and the joy of God's eternal kingdom, we cannot help but praise, because the One who has accomplished all of this is not the creature but the Creator Himself.

Praise to God is the only fitting response. We praise Him with thanksgiving (v. 1), for He has become our strength, our song, and our salvation (v. 2). We draw from the wells of salvation with joy (v. 3). We make Him known among the nations (v. 4), proclaim His glorious deeds throughout all the earth (v. 5), and lift our voices in praise because the Holy One of Israel is great in our midst (v. 6).

In particular, the expression, "With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation" (v. 3), is far more than poetic imagery. It vividly and powerfully portrays the reality, abundance, joy, and life-giving power of God's salvation.

Today, I sincerely pray that you will personally experience the rich reality of that salvation in all its fullness. May you draw deeply from the wells of salvation, delight in the overflowing love of God, and become a blessed channel through which that abundant love is freely shared with others.
