29년 된 앤아버 소망 교회!

사막을 갈 때 뒤를 돌아보고 나아가는 자는

바르게 나아갈 수 있습니다.  그러나 앞만 보고 나아가는

자는 자신도 모르게 뱅뱅 도는 걸을 걷게 된다고 합니다.

개인이나 공동체가 돌아보는 것은 매우 중요합니다.

첫째, 과거 역사를 통해서 배울 수 있기 때문입니다.

잘 한 것도 봐야 하고, 못 한 것 또한 봐야 합니다.

그래야 반복하지 않게 됩니다.

둘째, 과거 역사를 통해서 하나님의 인도하심을

다시 깨달을 수 있습니다.  그래서 돌아보는 사람은

하나님의 살아계심, 역사하심을 깨닫게 됩니다.

소망 교회가 올해 29년이 되는 해입니다.

내년, 30년째가 되기 전에 소망 교회는

그동안 29년을 한번 돌아 보기를 원합니다.

그러할 때 하나님의 살아서 역사하심을 깨닫게 될 줄

믿습니다.  부족하거나, 잘 못한 것 또한 솔직히 봐야 합니다.

그래야 앞으로 바르게 나아갈 수 있습니다.

기억해야 합니다!  하나님은 언제나 성실하심으로

우리 앤아버 소망 교회를 이끄셨다는 사실을. 

그 하나님의 성실하심이 앞으로

바르게 이끌어 갈 것이라는 사실을!

돌아보는 겸손함과 지혜를 통해

내다보는 기대감과 소망을 갖게 되고,

올려보는 믿음의 자세와

내려가는 겸손한 자세를 통해

하나님의 충만함으로 채움 받고,

하나님의 깊이로 다다르게 되는 성숙으로

인도함 받을 줄 믿습니다.

그런 내년 30주년을 미리 준비하는 소망 교회 되기를 소망합니다!  (배헌석 목사)

2.What a treas-ure I have in this won-der-ful peace,

Bur-ied deep in the heart of my soul,

So se-cure that no pow-er can mine it a-way

While the years of e-ter-ni-ty roll!

Com-ing down from the Fa-ther a-bove!

Sweep o-ver my spir-it for-ev-er, I pray,

In fath-om-less bil-lows of love.

3.I am rest-ing to-night in this won-der-ful peace,

Rest-ing sweet-ly in Je-sus' con-trol;

For I'm kept from all dan-ger by night and by day,

And His glo-ry is flood-ing my soul.

Peace! Peace! won-der-ful peace,

Com-ing down from the Fa-ther a-bove!

4.Ah! soul, are you here with-out com-fort or rest,

March-ing down the rough path-way of time?

Make Je-sus your Friend ere the shad-ows grow dark;

Oh, ac-cept this sweet peace so sub-lime!

Peace! Peace! won-der-ful peace,

Com-ing down from the Fa-ther a-bove!

또 내가 새 하늘과 새 땅을 보니 처음 하늘과 처음 땅이 없어졌고 바다도 다시 있지 않더라

또 내가 보매 거룩한 성 새 예루살렘이 하나님께로부터 하늘에서 내려오니 그 준비한 것이 신부가 남편을 위하여 단장한 것 같더라

내가 들으니 보좌에서 큰 음성이 나서 이르되 보라 하나님의 장막이 사람들과 함께 있으매 하나님이 그들과 함께 계시리니 그들은 하나님의 백성이 되고 하나님은 친히 그들과 함께 계셔서

모든 눈물을 그 눈에서 닦아 주시니 다시는 사망이 없고 애통하는 것이나 곡하는 것이나 아픈 것이 다시 있지 아니하리니 처음 것들이 다 지나갔음이러라

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.

I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.

And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.

He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." (Rev. 20:1-4)

11. 하나님이 모든 것을 지으시되 때를 따라 아름답게 하셨고 또 사람들에게는 영원을 사모하는 마음을 주셨느니라 그러나 하나님이 하시는 일의 시종을 사람으로 측량할 수 없게 하셨도다

12. 사람들이 사는 동안에 기뻐하며 선을 행하는 것보다 더 나은 것이 없는 줄을 내가 알았고

13. 사람마다 먹고 마시는 것과 수고함으로 낙을 누리는 그것이 하나님의 선물인 줄도 또한 알았도다

14. 하나님께서 행하시는 모든 것은 영원히 있을 것이라 그 위에 더 할 수도 없고 그것에서 덜 할 수도 없나니 하나님이 이같이 행하심은 사람들이 그의 앞에서 경외하게 하려 하심인 줄을 내가 알았도다

11. He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end.

12. I know that there is nothing better for men than to be happy and do good while they live.

13. That everyone may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all his toil--this is the gift of God.

14. I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it. God does it so that men will revere him.(전 3:11-14)
